new in : Marc Jacobs lipsticks in Happy Ending and Have We Met?

The Marc Jacobs makeup line was recently launched in Malaysia and I was really excited to try out the products after hearing many positive reviews. Sephora had a 20% off storewide sale and I took the opportunity to buy two Marc Jacobs lipstick in the shades Happy Ending and Have We Met?
116 Happy Ending

108 Have We Met?

Happy Ending is a bright pink lipstick which would be flattering on most people. Its a fun and bright colour and a great pick-me-up colour. Have We Met? is a warm pink and would also suit most people. It is an everyday and natural colour which will go with most makeup looks.

Top- Happy Ending
Bottom- Have We Met?

These lipsticks are gellified, has a hydrating shine and are long-wearing. The packaging is also super luxurious. Happy Ending is very pigmented and Have We Met? is also pigmented but you can still see your natural lip colour peeking through.

They both apply smoothly and will not bleed through out the day. They have creamy consistencies and wear extremely comfortably on the lips. They last up to 6 hours on my lips (even after eating and drinking) which is a great plus!

The price of one Marc Jacobs lipstick is RM 95 (about $30) but I got mine for RM 76 (such a steal!).

Overall, these Marc Jacobs lipsticks are totally worth the splurge and a lipstick lover should invest in them. Plus they will look really pretty in your makeup collection ;)

a review : Nars blush in Douceur

This is my first ever Nars product which I got as a gift for my birthday. I chose this blush because I wanted an everyday colour which would go with any makeup look. This blush is described as a "soft pink brown" and I would say it is like a dusty rose kinda colour, very pretty on the cheeks.

This blush is quite sheer but buildable and I think that it gives a really nice definition to your cheekbones. It does not have any shimmer either. It could also be used as a contour shade for lighter skin tones but I just use it as a blush as it is abit pinky on my skin tone.

The blush is easily applied although I might have to pile it on sometimes but you wouldn't need to be too careful while applying it as it looks quite natural, fool-proof. This blush lasts about 6-7 hours on my face, which is a good thing for me. (note: I have oily skin and i live in Malaysia {humid country})

This blush cost RM 120 ($28). It is on the pricier side but it is worth it. Overall I think that this is a great blush especially for light-medium skintones. I will definitely purchase another Nars blush soon. Nars Deep Throat maybe? ;)
